Marketing involves the activities that help sell the value proposition of your products and services, the methods in which they’re made and delivered, and the overall customer experience. This includes things like research, branding, promotion and advertising, pricing, and distribution.
Marketing is focused on sharing the value to your customers by solving their problems. The customer wants and needs something, and you’re offering the solution to this through your products and services in a transactional way. How you attract a customer’s attention, build interest in what you’re offering and make it positively memorable is branding.
