Build Roots in Design
Learn how to observe and master your eye for visual design
What is Design?
Design is often considered the fun and creative part of a project because it generally involves making things visually look good, and there's something satisfying about this. We arrange lines, shapes and colors together with elements of imagery and typography. Design is like a puzzle where the pieces fit just right to showcase an amazing print piece, digital user interface, brand identity or other collateral.
But design is more than just a visual presentation of content. True design solves problems and conveys messages. It understands emotions and psychology. Design is fun and creative, yes, but it’s also challenging and critical to understand in order for it to produce effective results.
